Welcome

Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust provides district mental health services in Bolton, Salford, Trafford. We also provide substance misuse services in Bolton, Salford, Trafford, Manchester, Wigan and Leigh and Blackburn with Darwen. The Trust delivers specialist mental health and substance misuse inpatient services to the wider North West and achieved a 'Good' and 'Excellent' rating in the Healthcare Commission Annual Healthcheck for 2008.

We provide services for adults, as well as specialist services for young people. These include daycare, inpatient care and community services.

Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust becamme a Foundation Trust on 1 Feburary 2008. Since this time, almost 8,000 members have joined us. To find our more about the Trust and how to get involved, visit the Foundation Trust page in the top left-hand corner of this page.
